For years John McCain has fought to change the way Washington does business.  McCain understands that the special interests use large campaign contributions to buy political influence and control our government.  John McCain fought to return power to the people with the McCain-Feingold Law.

 

Internationally, McCain believes the greatest challenge we face as a civilization is the threat of Islamic extremism.

In Iraq, the McCain surge has produced results that have turned the war around.  McCain is the only Republican that can lead us to victory.

John McCain has reached across the aisle and worked with Democrats to get the business of the nation done.

 

John McCain introduced landmark legislation to help the save the environment.  The McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act sought cuts on harmful greenhouse gas emissions and fines to punish big polluters.

 

McCain's latest initiative, The Stop the Online Exploitation of our Children Act takes aim at sex offenders and child pornographers who would harm the most innocent among us.

 

McCain has time after time rejected the politics of division and intolerance, at times to the detriment of his own political career.
